Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc . My name is Tiffany Smith and as president I would personally like to thank you for visiting our website. Here at Northern Illinois University, our chapter thrives to contribute to the many successes that have been achieved throughout the years of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. A few programs that were a great success during the past year were mentoring young kids at The Sherman School of Excellence in Chicago, AKArobics, and donating children's books to various elementary schools in the area.

During our past Central Regional Conference we collected many awards such as Campus Overall Chapter Achievement, Undergraduate Achievement in Education, Health, Arts, Black Family, Economic Platforms, and Best Chapter Scrap Book and Exhibit. Delta Omicron has spent much time in process of developing several programs for the school year. We stand in ongoing progress to perpetuate contribution to our purpose; to be supreme in service to all mankind.
